A Guide to Long Brewing

Let’s talk about long brewing. Our infusions aren’t just delicious hot, but they can be enjoyed iced, and in mocktail and cocktail format.

A lot of herbal infusions contain low to no tannins (which are responsible for the bitter notes in tea), so can be brewed for longer periods with the addition of hot water. Depending on the final form of infusion you wish to enjoy, be it an infused water, mocktail or long brew herbal infusion, and whether you’re using a herb infusion or grain tisane, the extraction of flavours due to the temperature of water added will differ.

We’ve made an easy-to-follow chart to help with long brewing, which can be applied to all of our herbal infusions and grain tisanes.
