On Tuesday 8 September, Louie, launched. A new restaurant from Guillaume Glipa (Umu, Zuma, Coya, Chiltern Firehouse, Annabel’s (relaunch)) and Laurent de Gourcuff, Louie marks the Paris Society group’s first London opening. Drawing inspiration from several eras, the new restaurant blends characteristics of four cities: New Orleans, Paris, New York, and London. Occupying the former L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon site in Covent Garden, Louie is set across three levels. The ground floor has been designed to mimic the style of a French brasserie, while the upstairs floors are opulent dining rooms, with a roof terrace. In the kitchen, Executive Head Chef Slade Rushing’s menu has embraced both classic French gastronomy and food inspired by New Orleans and New York.
We’re pleased to announce that our mountain mint, linden, elderflower and lemon verbena have been selected for guests on the tea and herbal infusions menu.
Our recommended pairing: lemon verbena & oysters
