Nazani Tea Available at Qima Cafe

We're proud to say we are available at the newly opened Qima Cafe on Warren Street.

Qima Cafe's Story

Qima Cafe is the UK's first tree-to-cup café sourcing exceptional coffees directly from smallholder farmers in some of the world's most challenging environments, through Qima Coffee.

Qima coffee was founded by Faris Sheibani with the vision of using coffee as a vehicle to sustainably improve lives and livelihoods.

When it comes to sourcing and buying coffee from their farmer partners they apply a genuinely equitable three-tiered pricing model that encompasses the cost of production for the farmer, a living wage to cover the basic household needs and quality-related premiums.

They start our sourcing directly at smallholder farmer level to ensure full traceability down to the individual producer. Whilst they offer larger micro lots and community lots, their expertise lies in finding and sourcing unique lots from single smallholder farmers, which can be as small as 15kg per harvest. As one of the only coffee business in the world that works to these scales, they sell much of our coffee in exclusively small batches, with global exclusivity offered with each lot. they also tell you about the farmers’ ambitions and challenges, giving you the chance to build a genuine connection with them for years to come.

The core purpose behind Qima Coffee is to rebuild Yemen’s specialty coffee industry and restore hope in this once-great nation. So, we’ve pledged to donate 10% of our annual profits to education and agriculture projects through the Qima Foundation.

Qima Café was launched in September 2022 to act as a space to showcase and explore our vision for coffee to, and with the public. The café will serve as a creative space in which we will work with consumers, professionals, farmers and partners alike to explore the boundaries of coffee experiences, and identify the challenges facing the coffee industry, with the ultimate aim of creating a more equitable and enriching industry.

Qima Café, welcome to the Nazani Tea Family!
